Thanks. Actually the 8 track goes pretty good because the lack of fidelity is nothing compared to all the background noise. It is just there to help the song in your head. Here is another good tune to drive with. Too new for 8 track but I have it on the phone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejedQA3KPzQ
LOL! I am less finicky when it comes to my Golf, so I will stretch the music selection to include Mozart.
The Doors LA Women; the album not just the song. Only in the rain and with a vintage machine something about Hyacinth house eases the mind from my delicate flower being rained on.
Matt Monroe - Days Like These. I know it has links to Lambos but it is such an iconic scene, I like to imagine myself on those Italian mountain passes.
Between Christmas and New Year's day I tried 'Ace of Spades' in my 308 on the german Autobahn. Great! R.I.P. Lemmy Kilmister http://youtu.be/yxJwP0izGgc
Here is a picture of Lemmy with a patch or sticker of my old band "Cirith Ungol" on his leg. I and anothet member of my old group are coming to the Keep it True music Festival in Germany to meet fans and sign autographs in April! Very sad about Lemmy, Rob Image Unavailable, Please Login
Seriously; I would attend, but tickets are actually sold out since April 2015. Amazing! Best Regards Martin
Ace Of Spades is a classic!! Also loved the stuff Lemmy did with Slash. New Bring Me Horizon album sounds great on the road especially Throne. Rawk!!!!
Hi Martin and all others A theme i missed here in the forum, and generally in other car forums, because - music is an important part of my life - music intensify or generates emotional moments - music is very important for memories - ......... I think, good music in the background (not to loud) increases the emotions while driving the Ferrari. Sorry, no 308/328, but here are my all time favorites while driving the V12s, my 550 or my 599 : Dire Straits : Brothers in arms, Sultans of swing, Telegraph road, Private investigations, and more ... Phil Collins : In the air tonight, Mama, No son of mine, Carpet crawlers U2 : With or without you, One, Sweetest thing Deep Purple : Perfect strangers, Child in time Pink Floyd : Wish you were here, Another brick in the wall, High hopes, Comfortably numb Gary Moore : Empty rooms, Friday on my mind, Still got the blues, Out in the fields Journey : Separate ways, Wheel in the sky Joan Jett : I love rock and roll Tom Petty : Free fallin, I won't back down, Learning to fly, Into the great wide open Whitesnake : Here i go again David Bowie : Heroes, Under pressure, This is not America Foreigner : That was yesterday, Juke box hero Led Zeppelin : Stairway to heaven Midnight oil : The dead heart Daniel
Hi Daniel, you have a great taste and I almost like them all as well, though while driving cars I prefer the faster records of those musicians you mention. Simply because the fine details of that music drown under the V-8 noises. Maybe a modern front-engined V-12 is more appropriate. Sorry for being nit-picky: "Deep Purple, Sweet Child o' mine" This was from Guns 'n' Roses. I assume, you meant 'Child in Time' Best Regards Martin

LOL! The only problem is. Now, that my car proudly wears the Pozzi-sticker, some may think, I'm listening to Johnny Hallyday Best Regards Martin
People may think what they want, but please, please, please, don't listen to this. He is to Rock'n roll what vinyl is to leather...a kind of Lemmy in vinyl, if you can imagine that? Rgds
I roll down my passenger window and listen to the music from the Weber’s from my non- sound deadening airbox. I do not use the radio or cassette player.
I don't often listen to music while driving my Mondial, but when I do, I crank Subdivisions by Rush. Actually, I kinda like doing that in any of my cars! Like our Ferraris, this song is a sonic masterpiece. Hard to believe that it's almost 40 years old! 2cam
I'm thinking about putting a turntable in my passenger's seat so I can listen to this while driving my Dino...
