This is a euro spec model that was imported by JK Technologies ( www.jktechnologies.net), which is a well regarded major importer that conforms cars for major manufacturers. When this car was introduced in 1999 it was nearly impossible to get on the waiting list for two years and European import was common. There were advantages to the European cars which were said to have a bit more horsepower -- many buyers look for these cars. EPA certified in all 50 states including California. Gorgeous car and really well maintained! Feel that the 1999 were the best years for these as they were a little lighter and had a more HP due to the no pre-cats.
I wonder if it’ll pass the California smog to be titled and registered in California! I hear the 1999 models are pretty much impossible to pass California smog!
For 1999 360 model year, California allows Only 1 open monitor on obd2 so when car gets connected to computer it should only shows 1 open monitor NOT 2. If it shows 2 open monitors it won’t pass California smog.
Many eurospec cars were not California certified. This one is and has the California emissions sticker. I see no reason why it would not meet California standards. Anyway, it's sold.
Bravo! Thats my kid coming to get it Thursday. Fill it up as he will be ready to roll right off the plane.
My Son reports a wonderful drive back from Cincinnati Michael to home. After a quick glance over I can see that Greg will be mighty happy. Bravo gents. Image Unavailable, Please Login
