Your car is incredible! My next exotic is going to be a Red 360 to go with my Titanium 360 Coupe. People can call me crazy but the elegant shape of the 360 is second to none in my eyes.
I am not really interested in modern exotics. Cars like the 458, Huracan, Mclarens, etc are CDs to me, they are digitally perfect but lack realism, and are replaced like CDs as soon as the better model comes out. With the exception of some 458 owners, modern exotics are bought driven and replaced as soon as the better model comes out, they are like I-Phones. I doubt I will see many people at a car show saying they kept a 488 or Huracan as their long term keeper for 10-15 years. Starting up my 360 or a Diablo, Murcielago, Carrera GT or cars from the non-muted generation is such a difference experience to me. I remember the first time I listened to Frank Sinatra on a record player, I felt like he was in the room singing in front of me, I have yet to have that same feeling hearing the song on the radio. I have driven 570, 488, Huracan, etc for extended periods of time and those cars are so refined you can forget that you are in an exotic. I think it goes back to the fact for many enthusiast cars never truly get more special/interesting than the cars that you desired when you were a teenager. For me the 360 is the most beautiful car ever made, and if I didn't add another 360 to the garage I would pick up a Murcielago, those two were the cars on the posters and video games when I was a an adolescent
I agree the 360 lines are amazing - I do think the 430 is a close second even thought it has more power! Below is my gated 360 spider taken about a month ago after the new top was installed! Winter is setting in and it will be tough to her out much more until spring. Time for to start the annual service and get her ready for next year. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I understand your feelings completely. Recently my girlfriend’s son asked me to name 10 cars that I would want if money were no object, the majority of them were built before 1970.
Yes the 360 does have beautiful lines. I'd put the Daytona and BB up there too as beautiful Ferrari's. The rear design and detailing of the Daytona is absolute understated perfection in design. The then Designers at Pininfarina would be scratching their heads if they saw today's Ferrari 812.
As Willie said, "..on the road ugheeen.." beautiful day for a driiiiiiive. Thank you August Luxury Motorcars for fixing my F1 pressure issue (new accumulator + e diff control valve.). The Scud Swiss F1 module was key to chasing down the fix. Also upgraded to Ferodo DS2500 pads/lines, tuned my ECU’s with Mase and new steering wheel from MAcarbon. Relieved to bring her home! Image Unavailable, Please Login
