Brandon, just curious, I am wondering, what your opinion is on the difficulty scale, (shop hours) which model is easier to R & R the engine, 512tr vs testarossa. one from the top, the other out the bottom.
I have never needed to take a car apart this far unless there were a ton of issues that needed to be addressed. Maybe this car needed it or maybe not..I don't know. But this amount of disassembly seems on the excessive side. Just my opinion.. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Correct if wrong, I'm open to be told to shut up..
Nah i over service my cars - dan is a bad influence on me. Have you seen what he did to my f40? Check that thread out!
I think every 25 years the motors are just leaking everywhere and all the rubber is dry rotted. Allot of guys get tired of constant issues with the car and just want something they count on. With this specific customer we always go the extra mile to make the cars perfect to show our appreciation for all the work he gives us.
I like just dropping engines complete with the subframe. The 512 fuel system and harness make it easier to service once your past removing the motor.
Yes and no Input over 110k on a 512 motor I just had to replace the front main seal and the cam seals on the motor Kit the water pump That was it If you drive them they don’t leak!
