How does 13% sound here in Tax Capital Ontario? :D:D (and that is actually down from 15% a few years ago)

Eric (3forty8), I'll bet you miss that more than the snow :D:D

Great write-up, as usual, Ernie ;)

What Ernie did not say is:

10% sales tax on anything that is sold
6-10% state income tax on anybody who lives in california and earns an income
$10,000 property tax annually on an average house
reinstatement of the high car license tax every year now that the Governator has left the building
Get a ticket, pay a huge fine + added fees + sin taxes + ...

    The sunshine today ... priceless

The last time I was up in your neck of the woods I nearly fell over when I picked up a 6-pack of half-decent beer at the LCBO - something like $14 IIRC  No way I could afford to do my own maintenance with my beer fridge being next to my workbench in the garage. :D

Im going on better than a year with the same quest but alas....

We have new headers, we have new ignitors, we have new injectors, new plugs/wires .... we have the Gas Cap hoisted up and the car replaced from under it and now we have a worse miss.

I learned a little while back that beating my head against the brick wall only because it felt so good when I stopped was a concept/gameplan of marginal quality. Hey Ernie... want to fix a car?

I opted for mechanical grip... no wing... and going for big balls! So soon I'll have to figure out how to turn that darn suspension light off.

Well fellas, the Transpo ICM's showed up at the end of the week.

I installed them and took the car for a test run. They are plug and play. The cars sounds much better, and the horrible misfire I was having at idle is much better.

Let's hear it for "cheap Chinese junk". :D

    I'm such a Stooge.

There was a bit of a height difference for the screw holes. The Bosch unit is on the left and the Transpo on the right. You can see that the holes on the Bosch are raised up a bit higher than on the Transpo. But there was no problem installing the Transpo's, the screws went all the way in.

Well guys the new Transpo ICM have been working great. I've been able to drive the car quiet a bit. I have done several 50-70 mile trips in the car over the last month. Took the car on a 224 mile drive yesterday, and it ran just fine with no problems.

Oh yeah and about the check engine light that has been a pain in the ass. Turned out that was due to my car not liking the "superseded" O2 sensor I had plugged into the 1/4 bank.
