Wow... This is a hefty price for a mismatched set of used Testarossa luggage with no dust covers. Although I’m happy to see the values increase. I wonder what my as-new 3 piece 348 Spider set in black is worth on BAT?!!!! Never selling though... I didn't know I were a billionaire... Ciao PS If that poor conditions and incomplete Testarossa set worth 12+k, my 288GTO mint and complete set, how much is worth, 100 k? $$$$$$$$
one months ago an F40 set (restored) was sold for 15000 GBP (20+ k USD!) + commissions (almost 22k USD paid). Two days ago this not perfect at all Testarossa set sold for 12500 USD + commissions: what's going on? Only two anomalies, as I soppose, or something is changing?
an f40 document wallet sells for £4140 at Silverstone auctions: Ferrari F40 Complete Owner's Manual Pouch Set - Silverstone Auctions but the entire time there is one on ebay. offered for months at £2150 open to bids: Ferrari F40 Schedoni Leather Handbook Complete | eBay it makes no sense, people get carried away in auctions. For the seller right time, right place and a bit of competition between bidders. For the buyer sore head and regret following post auction research. Likewise i have bought some bargains at auction. I have sold items at auction, been shocked at the high price, next time I offer the same item, not even a bid in the room - all depends on all the auction factors we are very familiar with. Previously I have sold a Ferrari item for a great price, bought the identical item back at a fraction of the price and a month later there are 3 of them offered even cheaper, and no one is bidding. When you can buy the same or better item back with ease at a cheaper price, put it down to anomalies, and be happy you have a nice reference price for future bargaining.
You are right, auctions are very strange: once no bidders and no sale, the other time an out of mind price. Who knows! I can say this: there is a lot of interest about those Schedoni items, and mostly about the Ferrari by Schedoni bespoke luggage. Ciao
Maybe I should offer this for auction... Image Unavailable, Please Login Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met FerrariChat
Who knows? Perhaps it would bring no bids. But five years ago, there was a brand new, complete black one for sale in France, still in its original factory carboard package, for 2.000 euros... As said above, sometimes there is no rhyme or reason; it is a small market, to small for establishing a real "market price"; each sale is different. Rgds
Today, Friday December 18, there will be the official first copy delivery Ceremony to Mr. Mauro Schedoni, at Schedoni atelier. At 4.00 PM CET (10.00 AM ET), Modena, Italy. Pictures will follow. Ciao

and it looks like he has an F50 front wheel in the "Memory Room", to remind him of the 349 pairs of seats he trimmed? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Maybe, who knows: behind each of the thousands pieces and pictures there are in that big room there is a long story! Aside mr. Simone feet there is the famous set 1... And there is even the Gerard Berger half burned seat with Schedoni leather cover crashed at Imola 1989 GP, where his car got fire and the pilot was saved by the CEA firefighters. And at least one hundred of Ferari F1 seat covers...
This is the half burned carbon fiber Gerard Berger seat and its Schedoni leather cover, shown by mr. Simone Schedoni. See the video with the famous terrific crash (at minute 4:15): that's what remained of the seat after the fire ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
I forgot how brutal a crash that was, seems so much more horrific watching it now after all those years. Safety has come a long way, thank goodness!
Beautiful Schedoni Ferrari LaFerrari 2 piece set had very little interest on Bring-A-Trailer today. High bid was $2,700.00 which did not meet reserve. Also, only three bidders..... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

2700 USD is an high bid for an incomplete set that has been produced in higher quantities than the car itself (this happened only with the F50)

Hi Albert, thank you for the clarification. I thought Schedoni only made as many sets as there were cars. Happy New Year!
They were a bit more than the cars, not many, but always more. So I think not many with an F50 are looking for a set...
Recived my copy of the book this morning, just in time for counting for 2020 still, with a nice dedication by the author. It's a hefty work, 400 pages to browse and to read, and seems to be very interesting. A must for every Schedoni and Ferrari fan. Thank you Alberto. Rgds
