I just acquired this beautiful piece of artwork from a very good friend of mine and check out the history. This window was one of 12 panels commissioned by the Ferrari club of Southern California in 1984 as awards for their show during the concourse De' Elegance at Pebble Beach California. That was the year that Ferrari was celebrated honored Marque for the world-famous event. There was a procession of several hundred Ferraris that motored up the interstate from San Diego and Los Angeles with a state police escort all the way to the Monterey peninsula. To complete the event Ferrari sent two transport jets with classic museum automobiles from their collection. 10 stained glass panels were presented to the owners of the most outstanding Ferraris in attendance. The 11th panel was taken back to Italy and presented to Mr. Enzo Ferrari himself!! The stained glass window was hung in his office at world headquarters. And now I am the proud owner of the 12th and last panel.
