'93 512TR - White exterior, but had a factory black interior that has now been changed to a white interior. The seats, lower dash, door panel uppers, and the leather behind the seats are all now white.

Curious how that may effect the value in a buy/sell situation as well as what else it might effect?

    Thanks for your input.

Photos please. Its all a matter of the quality of work. As long as its just a color change and not a custom configuration. Factory White/White is a nice combo.
I think your fine. But thats my opinion.

It all comes down to Taste ... and quality of the work. At the sound of it, it can look very classy if well done. Or like a pimp wagon if not ......
I have seen an F12 with the same color combination, and it looked amazing!

Ferrari leatherwork, although quite soft and prone to wear, is perfect...

No wrinkles, no uneven stitching, it's very high quality.
So, an "undetectable retrim, unless done by an industry expert, will not be as original and it will be obvious.

    That said, "go and see"....

Might see if anything else has been changed. Should be gorgeous now, though.

The car is currently for sale by a member here. It’s listed on DuPont registry for 179k. Check out the pics. I am almost certain no corners were cut on this car. From the pics the car looks really nice and is desirable.

I looked at one car that in 7 years had multiple owners, only driven 1000 during the same period, and had no engine out service. Seemed a bit concerning.

From the photos, the interior looks very good, just don't plan on wearing your blue jeans when you drive it!!

Craig I don't recall seeing a trim plate on the 512 or TR to even state what color the interior was built with. If it does have it then maybe a member can tell us where to look. I know it has the sticker for the exterior color but never have seen the trim tag for interior colors. Hope this helps. It would not stand in my way of purchasing as long as it looks to your suiting and is nice which in your case is just that. I have a set of basically brand new Ferrari California seats that I almost put in my TR because they are very awesome and would also update the car. I decided not to do it but that is another question for another day and I think I asked it already a couple of years ago. Best of luck my friend.

IIRC there is no ID on the car itself on trim code, it would only show on a Factory inquiry, to my knowledge.
Maybe the original window sticker or Warranty Card..??

    Go with it!!

There's a black/tan TR coming from Service down the street, they were road testing it yesterday.

Surprisingly quiet as it blew by my house, more of a WHOOSH than a roar!!
Very classy...I think it's coming to market, per the Shop Owner...

This is true. From what I recall (and am happy to be corrected), Ferrari in the 80's/90's used a very particular type of leather from a manufacturer in the UK who has since long gone out of business.
