I have replaced the cam gears with NFF setup on my 82 308. Since the engine has been converted to EFI is there any way of getting better performance out of the engine by adjusting the cams?

Generally speaking advancing or retarding the cams moves the power band. If your setup is using a cat converter, you could advance the cam timing to correspond to the euro specs. But it would probably decrease your cat efficiency and light off time. See service manual for cam timing specs for comparison.
