Really hope that 1055 GT doesn't get damaged severely because somebody wanted to save a few bucks and chose the short air pallet instead of a proper long one. My goodness, you pay 9.9 M $ for such a car and then try to save a few grand for the shipping? 1475 GT on the other hand is ok and on a proper air pallet long enough. Marcel Massini
I am asking out of ignorance having never shipped a car on an airplane. Why wouldn't they make a set of custom wheel nets and have the car ride on its own suspension?
There are two major, major collectors in Mexico although one of these usually keeps most of his Ferraris in Gstaad, Switzerland. Marcel Massini
First ...Merry Christmas!!! Car is 250 MM Berlinetta Vignale 0334. But when? where? owner with that plate? Best. Miki-Paki. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Or in 1975, then owned by family Schouwenburg, number plates where from 250 Monza 0420M , or 2 years later when both cars where owned by another Dutch carcollector. By the way , I know where the original bumpers are from the car and some other chrome parts..
Of course I'm not advocating such, but rather that individuals posting here or elsewhere would show respect for the owners of those copyrights, either by at least acknowledging or better yet, making sure they're not infringing on any before posting. Just claiming to have found it/them on the "net" and re-posting without due respect is just kindergarten or "keyboard warrior" behavior mentioned on the other thread. Why can't this wannabe "warriors" just go shoot their own photos/pictures and post them instead ? Too much effort ?
99% of the pics posted here have the author credited either by writing or within the screenshot itself. No one is trying to be a keyboard warrior. Back to being a keyboard warrior... Probably 2 conversions. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This vintage film (1955) gives us a fascinating view inside the works of the 2 major sports and racing car manufacturers of Modena: Ferrari and Maserati. It's called: "Nate a Modena" which means "Born in Modena". (Nate, ending with "e" which is feminine plural: fabbrica is a feminine word) This artisanal work, this craftmanship is gorgeous, of another world. Delightful. https://patrimonio.archivioluce.com/luce-web/detail/IL3000050860/1/nate-modena.html?startPage=0&jsonVal=
