I sold my Mondial t coupe on BaT. I do miss that car a lot, but am enjoying my 348tb immensely.

aside from being a little smaller, how does driving the 348 compare with the t?

The 348 is more solid, nimble, go-kart like and overall has better build quality all around. Of course my t has/had 4 times the number of miles on it as my 348 has now, so we'll see long term.

Interesting! I'm actually a bit surprised by that. I wonder if it's due to the 348 being a newer design, one example compared to another, or maybe just the mileage difference as you suggest. Regardless, the 348 berlinettas are definitely cool cars.

Certainly the newer design is a major difference, they are nearly 10 years apart from the first Mondial 8, and the T shares a significant amount of design from the earlier models even though it is has the same engine/transmission as the 348. I'd say a big factor for me are the seats; they are far better in that they are snug with good bolsters and provide a very secure feeling which adds to the overall impression. The compactness of the cockpit also provides a more intimate feeling. Don't get me wrong, I loved driving the t, especially on the track, as it's far more predictable that the 348.

Awesome! Enjoy in many miles of happiness!

P.S. Have you had a chance to drive A/B with a 355? I always love the hearing comparisons between the two.

I was looking at buying a 348 initially but found my Mondial T for a good price, maybe when I’ve finished all the little jobs on the car i will sell it & do what you’ve done (or maybe a 355??)

If I had the money right now I would seriously buy another T coupe, I want a black one and a silver one. I absolutely love these cars.
