"You must really hate indoor workouts" Yes, would rather be outside riding. "I got winded just looking at that thing." With 9 pas settings and a twist throttle, no reason to get winded. Rode it a few weeks back in a few inches of snow, good times. My usual ride is my '97 Seven Cycles Axiom. Converted to carbon flat bars, 1/10 gearing 44t front ring 11-30 cassette, Sram twist shift, Magura hydraulic rim brakes, single Magura brake lever w/splitter and front/rear bias adjustment, Bebop pedals, etc, weighs 17.5 lbs. Converted to flat bars a few years back when my neck & shoulders couldn't do drop bars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Big part of why I moved to FL. The coolest ride I have had down here was last Sat. at 57° F. Had to wear lightweight tights, long sleeve thermal shirt + long sleeve thermal jersey & lightweight full finger gloves. Full winter gear is packed up still ( I had to dig that stuff out of boxes. Mistakenly thought I would never need it again)
I live in 80 degrees all year except when visiting Illinois. I love it for a week, but I really love warm weather riding
I ride all year long in the northeast. Doesn't matter if its 20 degrees. The only thing that keeps me off the road is snow or fresh black ice. I tried to do the trainer thing in the winter, but I hated it. I just need to be outdoors. Here is my road bike all decked out in her winter clothes (wheels, winter tires, fenders, mits, etc). Depressing, but functional... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Two month ago I bought a new Rockrider xc50 for €850 (or $1025). I know for this price I could have a Trek but nowadays it's very hard to find a new bike under €1000. Good xc bike, just brakes should have been improved Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mee too. Tomorrow in my country we expect a felt temperature of -7,6 °F (-22°C) and I really want to ride
Bianchi Infinito Di2 with the ENVE wheel set (45mm). A great mountain climber! I went tubeless 28s, next time will replace with 32s. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just got my bike back together for the rising season as snow is gone. 20km to break it in on the shores of Toronto. Image Unavailable, Please Login
2 years ago it was a forest road here I used for biking. Arf, biking in a country where you can find WW2 ammunitions and bombs and near a military ground is sometimes surprising. Or stupidly hazardous Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just picked up a new ride today--Pivot Trail 429, XTR/XT build with Reynolds carbon wheels. Hope to ride it Friday or Saturday.
