Finally found my 308 GTB

Totally agree, in fact already placed the EQ under the Air vent with a zip tie and waiting for a couple of L brackets to arrive. (great minds think alike)

I had not thought about this but definitely will get in the process of doing so today given it’s a nice and easy holiday. Makes complete sense and I believe that could be the problem.

New switch label and heater lever plates are available from Unobtainium Supply. These are very nice pieces with a non-scratch finish

If the antennae switch still work OK, that is it's momentary up/down, take care of it! They're NLA I believe, and they add to the overal correctness of the console.

Do you know if the 308 has a factory battery disconnect switch?
My Mondial does come with one from the factory near the battery.

I don't believe it does. At least mine didn't and there was/is no provision for one.

 

I think you are right,
I order a cut off switch and will be installing as it arrives.
