I was wiping down the engine bay after washing the car, and noticed there was a little bit of oil pooled up in the middle of the V12. Any thoughts why this happened? I plan on dropping it off at the dealership next week.

    Are you sure its oil?
If it’s from the middle of the car, it is probably from the exhaust, sooty condensation, both my cars do it this time of year.

Truly sorry to hear this. Can you share more specifics? Pictures? Mileage? Service history? Recently I thought I had an oil leak in my Ford GT, but instead it was a sloppy oil change that was the culprit.

If it is oil and on top center than could be from the adjustable intake runners. I think they are hydraulically actuated. Post some pics so we can help.

I had a PCV hose issue and oil and water spewed all over garage floor. It was an easy fix at dealership.
