    All:
I could sure use some experienced help here.
Last week I had a customer join me for lunch in the F430 Spider. As we went to lower the roof, I think he may've hit the "upper B-Pillar" with his arm, because it got all skewampus and refused to fold. We raised the roof again, and I pushed it back close to where it should be, and then lowered the roof. A-OK. Until.....

The next time I raised the roof, I noticed a lot of wind noise coming from that area. On further inspection, I can see that there's an actual gap of more than 1/8" between the rear edge of the passenger window and the Upper B-pillar.

Now, I could SWEAR that somewhere I've seen a technical description of how to adjust the window-to-roof seal, but now that I need it, I cannot find it. Nor can I find anything using those or similar search terms.

Has anyone had this problem, or have any experience with the adjustments on the roof or the windows?

I think typically, the window is adjusted to the top. Adjusting the window back and up a bit shouldn't be that difficult. There are plenty of instructions online on that procedure.

Looking at the way your window is sitting, it looks like it's "leaning" a bit too far forward towards the front of the car. The rear edge of the window should cut the same line as the body panel that the molding attaches to.

Caveat: Although I own a 360 Spider, it's been over a year since I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

Thank You for the reply, E/M. I did indeed find some threads on adjusting the window a bit, and I'll inspect the line, as you say.

Now..... explain that last comment, so I can be in on the joke? haha.

I had same problem also. It is the pillar part of the convertible top. If it could be adjusted forward. It would fix the problems. With limits of adjusting window. I got it better but not closed all the way

I had this problem with both sides of my 05. There’s a couple of screws/bolts that can be loosened and will let you push the rubber seal and the arm it’s on forward. You’ve got to let the top halfway down to access it. You can easily adjust about a quarter of an inch forward. Adjusting the window would be an act of insanity, unless you are a skilled technician or mechanic, this isn’t a Trans Am we’re talking about here.

Don't adjust the top section of the seal to compensate for the window: the seal should be flush against the lower seal section otherwise water may enter the car.

The problem in the image above is with the window. Look at the line of the window compared with the body. The fix is to remove the door card and adjust. It takes time to do and like many fittings on these cars the window mech is made out of cheap metal and doesn't hold for long.

Note: Some folk have the bad habit of closing frameless doors by the glass, which wears out the mech in no time.

Can you explain where you’re talking about adjusting a little bit more? I’ve already adjusted the window and it’s better. But if I can adjust that B pillar/convertible rubber piece it sits on just a tiny bit, it would be much better…
