All of Russ's stuff is rotary powered. This would be good to set up and run on a stand, too. Ninety dubious horsepower.
Then I should steal it for a re-pop 1920's mahogany racing boat...... a clone of this one: https://www.thatoldboat.com/Chris-Craft/26-1922-STANDARD-Powered-with-/
I visited that museum a few years ago. It's a great place to visit if you're in the Finger Lakes region of N.Y.
Me, too. Between the aircraft, engines and boats it was a good 2+ hours. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Reached out to the museum. They want the link to the engine for sale. Gotta love F chat. ((On Mon, Jan 4, 2021, 11:04 AM Info <[email protected]> wrote: Hi Fred, Could you send us the link? Curtiss Museum))
I knew I posted pix of my visit... https://ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/glenn-curtiss-museum.559012/
Museum passed, too pricey for them per the director. (Unless one of you guys wants to donate a tax deductible 10K to a 501-c3 charity...)
