I won't vote for the other four, but as you might expect, this is the most beautiful car to me!

How long did it take you to do the restoration and do you get a chance to drive it often?

    Dear Bob,

The 58 year story is too long to put down here but there are a few URLs which I will post for you if you are bored sometime.

The conservation/restoration project took eight years finishing just in time to take the top two Ferrari awards at Pebble Beach in 2008. The first restoration in 1960 took nine months which was to get back in condition to go racing and make the Oakland to Staten Island drive in 53. After PB in 2008 I drove it on track at several FCA Nationals including Laguna Seca, Road America and NJ MSP. Did drive it to Cars and Coffee in Santa Fe the past few years but it went to the new owner in 2018. In November this year he and his son had logged over a thousand miles on the back roads of Wisconsin in many weekend drives, no speedometer but iPhone GPS tracking for the mileage.

The next photo is flat out in fifth gear at Laguna Seca, what a great time, beautiful and it goes!

Also love the mileage you put on your car.

    Best regards,

    Robert

Hard to narrow it down to 5 ... but if I had to:

    1. 330P3/4 - specifically the one that Dino Martin had - that was converted to street use....
    2. 250 SWB - Passo Corto - alloy / external filler
    3. 1969 Dino GT - with knock off wheels
    4. 1976 308GTB
    5. 1995 355 GTB
and because 5 is not enough:
    6. 67 330 GTC
    7. 599 - have to put my own car in the list
    8. 288 GTO
    9. F-8 Tributo
    10. F-40

    Pure Race Cars:
    1. 1970 512M
    2. 1990 642
    3. 1966 312
    4. 1976 312t2
    5. 1995, 412t2

Funny how what you like can change as you get older (plus more exposure to the brand)
As a kid in the 70s the 308 was it
In the 90s a guy at work had a black over red alloy bodied 275 GTB and that was it
Recently I have come to appreciate the 500 Superfast as my favorite

I agree. I think when you are young you tend to gravitate to the newer cars... as you get older you go for more of the older cars as well... not sure why? I have
always liked the Dino, and still do. but if money were no object I'd rather a 250 SWB ( over a GTO! )....
