Hello dear Ferrari enthusiast. I just traded two vehicles from my collection for this beautiful beast. I've got myself into a 2003 575M F1 Argento Nurburgring Nero interior 19K miles. Car is very clean and enjoyable until I brought it home to smell the gas fumes from the trunk. Thanks to this forum I was able to pin point that both of my Bosch fuel pumps had leaks from the plastic exit port. I've took out the gas tank and ordered the parts and can't wait to get them in 2 weeks or so to install them back on the car so I can start enjoying her. It has all maintenance records since new but unfortunately the fuel pumps went bad in my time and were never replaced in the past which is not a big deal at all. I'm pretty hand and love working on cars so this will be fun.

With this I want to introduce myself and meet my fellow enthusiasts.

@cubbyman60 thats weird in that I just this morning got the Autotrader notice of the same car you mentioned for sale at Mercedes of stockton. Odd?

VIN: ZFFBV55A730133708 on my tracking sheet I had this car at Beverly Hills Ferrari but the email notification I got from Autotrader and their "coming soon" showed the vin. That car #133708 is still on their site with black wheels https://www.ferraribeverlyhills.com/auto/used-2003-ferrari-575m-maranello-beverlyhills-ca/50530076/

And here is the Mercedes of Stockton Link for the same car 133708 THAT car in Beverly HIlls had black wheels. I'm not educated enough to find out if that car went to a wholesale/dealer auction but if anyone is and can share that would be insightful. That would explain how the car with black wheels got from Beverly HIlls up to Stockton.

The other similar 2003 with modulars and same 19k-ish miles is the one in West Hollywood...I'm guessing that is the car Vic just bought....would make sense since he said he traded two cars in...that would be a little odd to do that in stockton at Mercedes.

131315 West Hollywood 2003 19,228 Argento Nurburgring Nero Modulars & shields ebay $99,000 ZFFBV55A030131315(Specialty Car Collection)

I believe that west hollywood car used to belong to an F-Chatter. Vic congrats!

Thanks man. Eric guessed it correctly above I got it from a private party that had it consigned with Specialty Car Collection. It used to belong to Tomy Drissi (famous race driver) prior to that.

Hi Eric, you are correct the car was listed at Specialty Car Collection as a consignment however I got it directly from the owner as a private sale. I know the car used to belong to Tomy Drissi and not sure if he was the F-chatter you're talking about but would love to find out.

Vic, great looking 575. While you have the fuel tank out be sure to replace the roll over valve seals/O-rings (3). They are inexpensive and can also be a source of fumes particularly when the tank is full. Inexpensive insurance if the tank is in front of you. Enjoy!

Absolutely my friend. I've ordered all the o rings, all new hoses and the fuel pumps, almost $3k worth of parts. So, basically the only thing that will remain the same will be the tank itself.

Did you upgrade the shields and the modular or you think it was done after your ownership.

I like the Argento. I had an argento 550. The color is all business. I have a rosso 550 now. It gets too much attension.

uggh, remove the shields. clear fakes.

i added the modulars, the HGTC springs and the FHP rear sway bar. sold it to tomy. he sold it to a father / son duo who i think traded it into CNC. then it bounced around wholesale.

Aha, I knew I had HGTC setup when I removed the rear wheels and saw the shocks but didn't pay attention to the rear sway bar. Ha Ha you know it all too well. CNC never end up selling it so I traded couple of my cars with the Father/son and win/win on both sides.

Nice! I also read on the documents that a a TUBI mufflers were installed at one point but I think I have the originals that have big "575" stamped on them. Do you know it had TUBI when you had it?

I will be on the lookout for ya’.

We live at Fairfax and Melrose Ave in LA.

Congrats, fixing the fuel smell (rollover valves were bad) was one of the first repairs on our 2003 456M as well.
