While getting an update from my sales rep this morning about my GTS that is status 91 since Dec 16th, I asked him about the 812vs list. He said he has received 2 lists. One in November 2020 showing names that qualify for the next special edition car but it did not specifically say if it was for the 812VS or 812 GTO. Then a second list in early December where names could be removed or added.
Seems to contradict what people in the the know write here. Lately there came even up rumours about a V12 option for the Purosangue which is rather hard to believe for me.
After reading some of the comments , It seems like different countries /markets are at different stages as I’ve spoken to a couple of Vvips here in the Uk and they havent been approached - yes , possible that dealerships have lists but don’t believe they’ve been in contact with clients yet - I’m happy to be corrected if anyone in the Uk has been approached officially ....seems like there may be a rollout of lists going on
Just took delivery of my 812 GTS today and confirmed my deposit for the VS. However, my sales consultant was not aware of any lists, but it may exist at the GM or sales manager level.
Absolutely the same as a decade ago right here to. How will the new Ferrari models look and perform plus who will get them? Image Unavailable, Please Login
This screenshot came from video about several weeks ago.. however look at the fuel filler position.. higher than regular 812.. or not?
Best reason I can think for moving the fuel filler cap is that a rear arch venting arrangement will be put there... TDF’s best feature!
astute observation... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login now the F40 has FOUR fender vents!
if that is an NA high compression V12 with hybrid .. that's the kind of hybrid I can go for ... love the idea of a 13:1 11000 rpm 3.5 litere NA V12... bring it on with or without hybrid that car would be a screamer unlike anything we have seen ...
I think that someone is risking handing over money to a dealer who HOPES to get a car. No one has a secured allocation until the car is announced and the factory approves the final list of names. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
hope what you "believe" is true. do you have any inside information about this new v12? or it's just a guess...
It was from an Insider / reliable source [ I hope]. But it could have been given to me to divert from the truth. Only time will tell. [ or Marcel if he thinks it is appropriate ] He could always say its not corrrect without upseting anyone if it is not?
My understanding is that V12 will be done outside of potentially hypercars. Perhaps Ferrari is testing out whether SF90-like cars as flagship will work for people with Roma/Portofino as GT options. Maybe the lower displacement hybrid V12 is a backup plan or is what is going to be used for hypercar?
