A big fight this weekend. Lomachenko has predicted Campbell to win. I know Loma would have a better idea than 99.99% of boxing "armchair experts" like myself lol. But I reckon we will see Garcia take the win. Too young, too quick, too strong. https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/lomachenko-says-ryan-garcia-ran-from-him-during-sparring-picks-campbell-to-win/168282 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not convinced on Garcia. He keeps his head too high. A good experienced fighter is gonna knock it off. Great test for him. Did you see Loma wants to fight Tank Davis. Now thats a GREAT fight.
Cheers mate, I never noticed that about Garcia but I will be watching so I will check it out. Loma VS Tank!! That will be awesome.
We called it Pap. Speed kills. Liver shot was devastating. Props to King Ryan for surviving the 2nd round knockdown. Having Canelo as a sparring partner sure helps. Love Garcia’s composure and flurries. Left hook straight right fire.
Have I ever called it? Garcia did look good. That whole division is adding up to be a Crazy division.
You're not wrong man!! A lot of exciting fights to come in this and many other divisions in 2021 and 2022 I reckon. Btw............the one thing I didn't like about Garcia watching him closely, he gets his too much in the head. And that is probably one of the reasons he was dropped. When he tightens up his defense, he will be extremely dangerous and very hard to beat!
I'd love to see it, Tank has KO power that Garcia won't be getting up from lol So he better start working on that defense, but Tank will put him to sleep if Garcia leaves himself open.
The 135 weight class is gonna be fun for the next few years. 5+ fighters are some of the best and definitely most exciting fights right now. 1. Lopez 2. Loma 3. Davis 4. Garcia 5. Haney + Shakur @ 130 who wants a piece of the action And I feel he is better than most of these other guys. Don't think Loma is out of the picture. He still has it. That's why I put him as #2.
I was a little surprised how off Loma was his last loss. I know he tends to start slow but he waited too long to turn it on against Lopez. Agree Loma still got it definitely top 5. Maybe Lopez vs Tank is the fight to make but either way Tank is super exciting.
Yeah man, what an awesome division that is. And definitely don't count Loma out, he will come back better than ever after that surgery I reckon.
Loma definitely had an off night. Didn't turn it on till the middle/late rounds and by then it was too late. I think the fight to make now is Lopez VS Tank. That will be amazing! I think it's too early for Garcia to fight Tank now, especially after seeing how many times he was hit in that fight against Campbell. Tank will put Garcia to sleep if he connects and I think Tank will get the job done too.
100% correct. I'd like these young guys take a shot at Loma first. I think he should be the stepping stone to get to Lopez. Loma may beat Lopez if there was a rematch, and I think Lopez knows it. Thats why he won't give him a rematch. I have a feeling stardom is gonna get to Lopez's head. He is riding high right now.
Spot on mate! Loma is still a weapon and I think he will beat Lopez in a rematch because he will have worked him out from the start this time. Lopez knows it also, which is why he won't give him a rematch. The young man is definitely riding high, he better be careful as there are plenty coming up through the ranks that are just as hungry, if not hungrier than he is to take a chop at the title.
Looks like the young fella has bitten off a little more than he can chew. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's funny, I think these guys wanting to fight the Pacmans, Macgregors and the Mayweathers for the big pay cheque must truely believe their worth will never match or exceed those other fighters, so they have to cash in while they can. The whole time putting a 'blemish' on their legacy. Besides his biggest day he will ever get, what does Garcia gain by fighting Manny Pacquiao next? If he wins, people will say he won against an "old" Manny Pacquiao past his prime. If he loses, people will say he lost to an "old" Manny Pacquiao past his prime. Lol and I reckon Manny will pump him anyway.
That's a GREAT way to look at it. Your right. They must truly believe their worth will never match or exceed those other fighter. I love that! May I borrow that quote when talking to other boxing guys?
