I've recently fallen back in love with these. A good friend and colleague owns an ex-Japan, ex-Dubai Evo 1 with a few tweaks. It's not fully sorted, but it's still quite impressive. I get to work on it every once in a while. Then we take it to the track (where it rolls hilariously and grips incredibly). I'm in love but $160k!?!?!? Man. I'm pissed I couldn't but one ten years ago. But the time they were importable, they were too $$$.
Hold on though, the $182k was for the epic Martini 6, one of 310. A regular nice integrale can be bought for $60k. The guy in England where I’m doing the Group A rally build has sold a bunch to friends of mine in the USA. Not too late to join the party! I know of about 15 integrales in the NY area around where I live.
A Martini 6 was always my dream. I'm a sucker for white with Martini stripes, although I'd also consider a regular white Evo and stripe it myself. I'm not picky! haha. I've had a few opportunities over the years to pick up a non-Evo here or there. Including a 16v way back before they were "legal". But an Evo was always the dream. So, I have a Thema 16v Turbo for now instead. haha.
My Edizione Finale....Final Edition. 109/250 for the Japanese market only and the last to be made. This is a 1996 car. It’s had a service every year of its life and has an impeccable history file. Although the car presented 99% perfect there were a few stone rash marks on lower doors and sills so I had a full body respray and complete engine rebuild to make the car as new. Interior is perfect and has extra touches like push button start and a number plaque on the gear surround and front badge is numbered. Such special cars and feel quick even by today’s standards. Does anyone know of an active forum for the Integrale? I realize we can discuss here on FChat, but not many own them here.
Hi there! I am looking for an Integrale (<- link to "wanted" post in Classifieds) and it sounds like you have good intel on some cars for sale around where you live. I you don't mind, would you kindly contact me to share some additional details? Thanks!
