    My apologies to all......

It turns out that the signatures, aside from the author’s, are printed, and yes, Baghetti is one of them along with R. Rodriguez, Bandini, Hill and Mairesse.

Thank you to the FChatter who let me know by PM.

In Italy there are various copies on sale in second-hand market at reduced price. I don't know if they come from batch of gift copies or from unsatisfied buyers.

The 1000 GP book was given to Ferrari employees (only Gestione Sportiva?) together with the TOFM yearbook and a F1 scale model. A lot of them will turn op on auction websites.

It is apparently available - for €150, even better than £150 - from the French or German online ferraristore (store.ferrari.com) - btw I also see it (at £150) if I select UK as country.

    The number is 95998274.
The 24-page Italian language supplement has number 95998275.

    Hope this helps.

@a.v.d.winkel : you wrote "only a pitty they did not count the 1982 gp of Belgium as a gp participated, therefore not included.."

The Scuderia withdrew from the race after Gilles Villeneuve fatal accident and left the Zolder circuit. That's the reason why it's not included.

Does anybody have an idea what the numbers 8298/8360 on the folder represent? they have no relationship with the ISBN number.

    Here are afew books that I've recently added to my library;
"Enzo & Laura Ferrari - The story of two great patients" - by their doctor Cesare Carani
"Ferrari by Schedoni" - by Mauro Schedoni, Forghieri & Carlo Tazzioli
    "Ferrari at Heart" by Forghieri
And I know this is not a Ferrari book but it's full of great photos from the 60s & 70s, including Ferrari of course; "Pit & Paddock" by Peter Darley

    Great recommendations Nathan.
I'm holding off till Alberto caves to public pressure and publishes an English version of his Schedoni book.
    Hint hint Alberto. :)

The Forghieri book must be brilliant because despite the engineering formation being the worst in terms of impending an interviewee from giving complete clear answers -it formats the brain in the opposite direction, away from precise expression-, as a person he is one of the most amazing people I have had the privilege to interview.

    Definitely ordering it.
