Biden's 306 Electoral College votes matched the total won by Trump in 2016, his pathway to victory was smaller.

Trump's 2016 victory came from a combined 77,000 votes in the swing states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Biden's 2020 win came as a result of a combined 45,000 votes in Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin.

In other words, if merely 45,000 votes in those three states went for Trump, there would have been a tie in the Electoral College, likely resulting in a Trump win.

That’s the way the system works - win some some ‘big EC states’ and you’re in. Pennsylvania was the key; Arizona and Georgia were bonuses for Biden.

 

No wonder election fraud is so big on Trump's agenda if all it takes is 45000 votes.

Nothing to do with fraud - just the way the system works, especially since there are rarely more than 2 significant parties, and it’s pretty much first past the post. Trump’s win in 2016 was courtesy of FL (1.3% winning margin for 29 electoral votes; Penn 1.2 for 20 - and since Biden won this with a margin of 1.3 there’s a swing of 2.5% away from Trump you could definitely argue the EC is doing its job; Wisconsin 1% for 10 votes and Michigan o.3% for 16 votes (another significant Biden win in 2020 with a swing away from 2016 Trump of 3.1%).

If it was fair for Trump to win on those margins in 2016, why is it unfair for Biden to win on similar or better margins? Bidens lowest winning margin of the swings states was 0.7%.

I have no issue with Biden winning on similar or better margins.

What I do have an issue with are the - still unexplained - massive spikes in Biden’s vote in the middle of the night in the crucial states.

 

What do you mean, nothing to do with fraud. There are videos of people pulling out BOXES of ballots after counting was supposed to have stopped and observers were sent home. These invariably were close to 100% Biden votes. There is evidence that votes for Trump were counted as votes for Biden in the Dominion software. That sort of fraud counts for enough votes from people to swing the electoral college votes.

 

Well there were no “massive spikes” in the overall margins so what does that tell you? Massive spikes occur in counting when the boxes from different booths arrive - there would have been massive spikes in the count for Republicans when a rural booth box arrived (since the US rural votes overwhelmingly R and cities overwhelmingly D - even in states like Alabama - take a look at the results maps) but nobody mentioned that...
People really need to get involved, or educate themselves, with how systems work and forget the conspiracy theories.
Republicans in the runup tp the election controlled most of the state legislations (and their courts), plus the Senate, plus have a ‘supposed’ majority on the SCOTUS (not that I accept supreme court judges are in the pocket of any party) and yet still NOT ONE SINGLE legal challenge was made by the Republicans - same as Trump himself, there were lots of Tweets, bluster, faked, or outdated or wrongly attributed videos, accusations etc, but not 1 single properly made legal challenge.
Trump lost the same way he won in 2016 - them’s the breaks...

No - there were videos of people pulling boxes around - you believe they contained fraudulent D ballots but not a single piece of evidence has been produced to back this up. They could have been boxes of tissues for all anyone knows!

 

Karen, have you seen the graphs? Of course there are small spikes here or there as votes from various counties arrive.
But what we saw in the early hours of the morning were huge, virtually instantaneous increases in Biden’s vote to the tune of tens of thousands.
There is some footage from CNN where the presenters were analysing one state just at the right time and while they were talking the vote went from Biden many thousands behind to a few thousand in front literally in an instant.
That cannot be explained away in the ways you mention, and it has never been properly explained. It’s just been swept under the carpet and ignored.
You can bet your bottom dollar if it was the reverse and suddenly Trump went from behind to in front the media would have been screaming about it.

I have to admit I am surprised that none of the legal challenges really went anywhere.
I can’t understand why that is, but I don’t believe it’s due to “no evidence”.
