while I am not certain I suspect it ended at the end of the playing season or last night after the game he was only hired to the covid quarantined squad one step below the practice squad.. .. Dec 9 then put on the practice squad about a week later ... as he played in the Dec 16th game for a few minutes .. I sure hope it works for him..

Well they have real people broadcasting...the tech isn't good enough to have him do it yet lol. Only Saints-Bears this playoffs, but probably more next year to get more fans at a younger age...

I'm rooting for NO, but I agree that Brees clearly did not break the plane.

I really liked Romo a lot at first, but now he's kind of slipped into mediocrity.

Did the Bears beat the spread at the last second? Why was there no point after attempt?

I think a recent rule lets the teams bypass the PAT.

I can go either way, but what if a team loses a bunch of games because a few players have
missed games (due to Covid) or something like that, they come back and the team wins every game?
In retrospect, WTF's played a good game - with only a couple of 'name' players.

My guess is they have some sort of rookie minimum contract drawn up, or at the very
least a right of first refusal of some sort. Unless he's given an outright release, my guess
is if someone wants him they will have to give up a draft pick or two...

I don't mind Chris so much, what DOES bug me about him is he can take almost any player
and say 'He's the best in the league' - and he does that just about every game with someone.
So far this season he has named about a dozen Corners and a dozen Safeties as 'the best in the league'.

Compared to wooden Witten, he's pretty good.
I think WFH this weekend doesn't help anyone.

Yeah, but it COULD make a difference to the folks in Vegas, even though I know the NFL doesn't care about that.

My guess is both Wolford and Heinicke have both just landed themselves jobs as backup QB's
for their respective teams - at least. I don't think either are the kind that you have to plan for,
ie 'stop so-and-so and you stop the team', like a Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Wilson, Lamar, Mahommes, Kyler...
Nobody worries about Trubisky, Minschew, Tua, Lock, Darnold, Jones, etc.

Correct. Ironically, that rule was put in place after the Minnesota Miracle, when New Orleans lost on that last second touchdown, and the players left the field, leaving an injured punter to come on for the PAT.

They look unprepared, uninterested, and incompetent. The worst 12-4 team in the history of the NFL. So much for that 11-0 start. Is this the same team they were talking about going undefeated?
