For enough money anything is possible. I’m sure you could pay someone to remove the 488 engine and replace it with a NA engine. Let’s us know how it turns out for you.

    But why?
If one wants a different car, choosing a different car seems more sensible to me...

I agree. If you like the looks of the 488 but don’t like the sound you could get over it and enjoy the 488, change the exhaust OR buy a nice pair of headphones and play some 458 exhaust sounds every time you go for a drive. That way you get the sound you want. Lol.

    What is the end objective?

Turbocharging generally is superior to Supercharging. My suggestion would be to order some good books on forced induction off Amazon and read those before going too much further here with your project. Understanding the science, history and theory of what's going on when you pressurize a motor is an area where it really pays to have some depth of understanding.

I think the biggest issue you'd face (when returning a 488 to normally aspirated) would be wanting to increase the compression ratio of the motor. Also, stuff like the EFI and air metering would probably have to be remapped (as you mentioned) and this would most likely require either reprogramming the stock ECU stuff or installing your own 3rd party engine management.

I think buying a 458 Italia might be a much better starting point, if N/A Ferrari sound is what you're after here.

Love seeing guys modifying cars only to sell them a few months latter.

Get the 488 GTB pin the valves and have fun with the gears.

Buy a speciale heaps better looking than a 458 best compromise

You too logical. I dont think the OP actually knows what is involved. Either way really simple an aftermarket ECU will be required and then your all alone.

Very easy to make the 488 into a naturally aspirated car.

    1- sell your 488
    2- buy a 458

    Conversion complete,.
