New F8 buyer (spec)

I received my third and last photo of my car from Ferrari today. I’m happy to see what looks to be Michelin tires installed, just as I requested. Anyway, I imagine it should be arriving in the US relatively soon.

Curious, but how can you differentiate the Michelins from Perellis from that photo?

 

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, I’m able to read the word “Michelin” on the sidewall of the rear tire. It makes sense, since my build spec lists “Michelin Tyres” (see bottom of attached pic).

If your order says Michelin, then of course, that’s what would be on the car. I just thought you were seeing something in the photo that said Michelin.

It just arrived today, so I'm guessing a max of a couple of weeks.

That is lightning quick delivery. The early ones took 19 months. Deposit Jan/19, delivered to dealer- Aug./20

 

First one I have seen in Nero - it looks fantastic. Now take it over to Glaswerks and have them PPF it for you.

 

What a gorgeous Spec, love the interior and the Diamond Cut wheels, use it in Good Health.

 

The Rosso seat and lower dash interior look spectacular with the Nero exterior and add a bit of pop to an already gorgeous car. Big congrats! It must be great to finally have it in hand.

I’m somewhere in line for the spider and should find out more this weekend at FOCF.

As for color, undecided at this point, Much as I love bianco, I’ve had so many white cars already, so I’m thinking Grigio, Rosso or Nero (or Giallo).

You will love the Michelin tires! They grip well, not overly harsh..... the same as those used on some Teslas.

 

Thanks! I'm having my local guys in Hampton Roads do the PPF for me. It's nice if you need repairs or anything to have them close.

Car arrived today. 30 minutes after my wheels did. So, wheels are on, lowering next week, and PPF in 3 weeks. Car is great so far. Rides very nice, even with 22/21s.

Beautiful, just out of curiosity, if you were going to put on after market wheels, did you also spec the car with the Diamond Cut Forged wheels ($8k) option instead of just opting for the base wheels? Just wondering. Enjoy the car in good health.

 

I had no interest in aftermarket wheels until a few months after I spec'd it.
