ManLife Ten Bottles of Good Whiskey Under $20

I agree with Johnny Walker's' Red Label' is under-rated. I've had everything from Ghost to Blue, to Swing to Platinum. Gold to Green.

Red is the best bang for the buck. I know it's meant for mixed drinks, but I think Diageo perfected the mass market with this blend.

 

Add Famous Grouse scotch. Single malt flavours and smooth quality, at a surprisingly small price.

Agreed; Red with soda water for the price takes some beating - good to alternate with the Famous Grouse mentioned above as an everyday drink.

I’m going to save that one too because it was given to me by an attorney that I helped with a legal matter. She was an excellent litigator and an even more wonderful person, and unfortunately she passed away unexpectedly this past July.

 

Because of our draconian tax laws, in WA state that "$20 bottle" will be $40 when you go to pay for it! So we have to look at "best $40 bottle of xxxxxx"
