Yep - after the chicken was done, I tossed in the platesetter and pizza stone setup that I have. Pretty easy. The hard part of the pizza is all the chopping and dicing!

Thanks for the dough suggestions - I'm using Safeway dough which is actually pretty good, but I want to try thin crust dough. We have a Smiths near us, so I'll get their dough for the next pizza night.

I actually prefer Wewalka's thin crust (bistro pizza dough, I think is what they call it)...T

Pricing is par for Miami. Right now, in addition to their restaurant, Gianni’s, they have Sushi by Bou on the third floor and that is expensive. It’s an omakase dining experience with a private chef that makes each piece of sushi in front of you. I think my friend and I paid $150 each plus an $80 bottle of sake and a lot of drinks in the parlor. It was easily a $600+ night for the two of us. Again, it was an experience, not just food and drinks. I want to do it again soon.

Chili on a salad? Guess it's kinda like a taco salad huh? I'd have never thought to do that. I might try chili again this weekend.

I made Swedish meatballs last night. Lots of mushrooms in the gravy. Pretty tasty if I do say so myself!!

Cut up a nice pork butt
Season with latin seasoning. salt, cummin, chili powders.
Fill pan with water or beer, leave meat showing not submerged
Cook covered 2.5 hours 400 degrees, (make sure it's fall apart tender before browning) take cover off cook until brown about 10-15 min maybe use broiler if needed to brown
You will see fat left in the bottom of the pan, save that too it's the flavor mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    :)

I did DQ yesterday. Was hungry and DQ is on the way home from the park. Take Bella there everyday. Did their cheeseburger, fries, drink and sundae deal for $7. Had a coupon for a free small blizzard, so got one of those.

I misspoke. It was $125/person. We have one in Orlando that’s about $200/person.

Photos of the view of the beach from the roof of the Versace mansion, some of the sushi, the parlor, and the diners :)

It’s amazing. You should definitely go and make a night of it. Stay for drinks in the parlor after dinner. You can also stay overnight at the mansion, as it is a hotel as well.

Trying to talk my family into Chinese take out. It only makes sense if four want it. That way can do the dinner for six. If nobody wants Chinese, I'll just get sushi take out again.

4 hours in, then wrapped in foil, another 2.5 hours. Resting now. The girls are beside themselves, think they forgot about chicken for once.

Thanks. They were pretty tasty, hence the light SnB coating, mostly for crunch. They're not as thick as the monster chops you procure, but they're better than we've gotten at Costco and Kroger. They source their meats from local farms. Am hoping that we can establish a relationship with them and see if they'll special cut us some thicker chops...T

Ate way too much. This is after snacking as I pulled them apart. I snacked, wife snacked, the girls got a few nibbles... everyone is happy.
