The J50 was done for this example in the unique Bianco Liana. From a certain angle there is quite a pearl look to the color but from other angles it just looks flat in a somewhat bright shade of pearl white. Bianco Tartan has a huge amount of 'metallic' in that paint color as shown in the close up image of the F12 tdF fender. However from a distance it appears more like a simple bright white with some metallic. I went with Bianco Liana on my Pista and I love it... it is a color that also changes a lot in different lighting conditions. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for those great images and the comparison with Bianco Avus to. Really shows the contrast between the two paint colors. Your 488 Pista build spec is rather unique with that paint color plus the livery stripe there together!

I am fast becoming a fan of Bianco Fuji and Bianco Italia, it appears to me that Fuji has more a silvery look to it at times while Italia more creamy, what do you think? Interesting I have never seen Fuji at night, so don't know how it lite's up nor have I seen Italia only seen them during the day. There is no doubt the blue and white color combo on your car works great with Bianco Fuji. Now you can sit back and enjoy what you created that is the neat part!
Very nice and very interesting, thank you! Looks like Liana might be the "last step" of the whites before starting with the silvers? Am I right at all? Anyway with the last examples seen around here I'm getting interested in the differences among all met/pearl whites: Fuji, Italia, Tartan, Liana...
I think this is a good way to describe Liana, in direct sunlight it has an almost silver look to it, very hard to capture in a photo. From my experience after looking at many, many whites at Tailor Made. I can say that of the pearl whites I saw, Fuji has the most yellow in it, as others have a said a more 'creamy' look, Italia has more blue in it and Liana is the brightest 'white' of the three with almost no other hue in it. All look spectacular and all down to personal choice. I wanted Rosso Coburn for my livery stripe and comparing the whites with that color led me to Liana as to my eye it was the best combination. I've not seen Tartan (that I can remember), but from the photo above that looks to have a much larger metallic flake in it than any of these 3.

Ok good to know, shows you what I don't know thanks for this, will look for this when I see these colors.
with that thought in mind the latest Bianco Fuji is different. It doesn't have the creamy or as I see it yellowish tone present any more...
Hmm that is interesting that they would change the paint composition over time to produce a different look.
Agreed. Which makes me wonder and at the same time concerned that it may not have the most beautiful woman wearing the best nightgown of the event. Maybe they made a mistake
Perhaps but not by choice as sometimes environmental concerns force certain changes. The Ferrari Rosso F1 2007 is another paint that has 'evolved' from it's original concept appearance to.
That is ridiculous! Don't get me wrong, it isn't that I don't believe you. I just find it unbelievable that things like these may be forced upon. Especially because other car makers don't have water based paints. Just does not make sense.
I appreciate for your opinions and pics about Bianco Liana. I’m interested in the Bianco Tartan just now too. I love the flakes of the pearl white paint.
