This time of year I REALLY get racing fever. Last night I pulled a book from the shelf that I thought some of you might like. These shots from 69-72 all come from Michael Keyser's "Speed Merchants". Growing up in Indianapolis during this era was the greatest thing for me. Here's my childhood heroes: 1. Mario Andretti and Ronnie Peterson 2.Roger Penske and Mark Donohue thru interior of Ferrari 512 3.Emerson Fittipaldi talks to Collin Chapman 4.Davi Hobbs
Now for the cars: 1. Ferrari 512 of Donohue and Hobbs, refueling during Sebring '71. 2. Ickx @ Dutch GP '71 and fire breathing 512 @ Daytona '71. 3.The Mclaren of Dan Gurney 4.Donohue Sunoco Ferrari 512
Yes,Yes, Yes,.... this is what i like finding on Ferrari chat. Thanks, and keep going on. greetings, vincent
