You paid market value plus minus. Great car. Of course depending on how long you keep and future value will ultimately determine how good your deal was. In the interim drive it well, smile, and enjoy. ScottS
When I bought my Italia I used a formula I researched on fourwheel trader concerning depreciation per year and per 1000 miles to help me make offers. If you got new power added on for 2 years included in that price and she is as clean as you say then that is not a bad deal. If you are as in love with the 458 as I am, then you won’t care about the price as soon as she is in your garage! Congratulations and be safe out there! Yes, very happy. I have looked at a few which had a 200k asking price and they were either in much worse shape and had a few options missing. I could have bought this one with 12k miles no front end lift, no daytona seats for 187k but I didn’t feel it. https://www.lamborghinihouston.com/used-Houston-2013-Ferrari-458-Spider-ZFF68NHA1D0191626
You got an average deal, but certainly a great car. The most important thing is that you are happy. I would
The Bitterness of Poor Quality Remains Long After the Sweetness of Low Price is Forgotten The saying i go by ..and it seems appropriate here Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
Sometimes better options and low miles will enhance the value. If I were looking for a 458, I would be very interested in this one. Congratulations, very stunning!!
I passed on any car with sticky buttons. Two years later I am without a car for a few months and spending a few grand anyhow to fix sticky buttons on a pristine 1,000 mile 2014. Now I have some bitterness about paying a high price for a premium example. (Foam behind leather also rotted, headliner also fell. These are things that I now know should have no bearing on a purchase. In fact, a car that has already fixed these would have some advantages to my 1,000 mile example)
Not sure if my statement applies to your situation..i am saying if you are in the market and it comes down to a cheaper vs a more expensive one with all the options you want and in better condition/ maintenance don't go for the cheaper one. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
I am saying "better condition/maintenance" depends on what specifically is better. Totally agree on options. Get the spec you want!

I think he did pretty good. I gave it an 8. What you're missing here is +Red. Do you even notice there's a black car here when looking at these pictures side-by-side? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Your point, missing something?, 15k for red the most overplayed unoriginal color resale red, your car looks like every other Ferrari on car meet ups. I see this all the time if it's your thing to always have red as your Fcar that's for you at least make it a different red than rosso like Fuoco or Mugello those colors catch my eye rosso I'm like eh ,see it all the time = boring I think I know what color MY car is I see rosso Fcars as boring and way to common to make me look at them just another camry driving by.
If you look at ads there is still a significant premium for red cars and that needs to be considered when "rating" his deal. We were comparing red to black and personally I've never seen a black car that pops. My friend had a black Gallardo and sitting next to my yellow one at a car show you didn't even notice his was there. There are some blues, greys, silvers, yellows (depending on car), pearls that look awesome. My comparison was simply red to black.
it does not matter any more. You already bought it! Just forget about what you paid. so what if it's 10k more. Nothing you can do about it. Just drive and smile!!! By the way, I love the specs. Great find.
Someone did a statistical analysis of 360 ask/sell prices a while back and there was something like a $10-15k premium on red cars. It's in the 360 forum somewhere. I think Daniel did well on this car, especially with the low miles.
Point taken I never bought the resale red thing just way to common and the more common the less valuable it is usually but not fcars go figure. Black pops a little but it is the menacing effect that I like yellow is a happy color and screams look at me look at me pay attention to me hey over here look look I have a bright car just tries to hard for my liking.
Might be resale red BUT honestly how many cars on the road do you see are red today ? its not the 80's anymore. The RED FERRARI pops out even more today
Agreed, enjoy it! A bit over market but doesn't matter if you like it. I paid 230k for a similarly spec'ed 2017 488 a year ago.
