Have you considered a Lusso? Would never go from my Lusso to a Roma. Driven the Roma and it is not even close to the same league. No thanks. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
My problem with the Roma is the looks. Great for your wife....mans car? No Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
There are no dumb questions, however there are dumb people who ask questions. (Present company excluded of course.) I wouldn't switch my FF for a Roma, but I'd definitely buy a Roma. I know my wife would love it.
I have an FF and am about to get a Roma delivered... two different uses for me... And the Roma is replacing an Aston... SV
LMAO. My dad just sent me a pic of a Roma in the showroom in WNY. I told him nice car, for a woman.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
IMO Ferrari missed the mark on the Roma. Looks too much like an Aston. The body lines, the rear all resemble the Aston. The styling of the rear lights are terrible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I feel like the Roma is a much different car from the FF. It certainly is smaller, and the back seats looked more like purse holders than seats. My fiancé likes it, but she’d rather have a mid engine Ferrari. Drove the Roma and wasn’t all that impressed with the performance of it. But I was stepping out of my 812 and into the Roma. Probably not fair to it. If the Roma is interesting to you, go drive one if you haven’t. Maybe it makes more sense than the FF
It depends. What is your use case ? I had FF and now Lusso. Have F8 and F12. For me the Roma did not offer a new experience or improved one. I did offer my wife and she declined for other reasons including our boys are too big for the rear which many of my friends with small children are opting. Like the Cali, the Roma seems to be designed for new customers to the brand, and enhanced useable features which we on the hard core board have misogynistically labeled a “woman’s” car. Just like the Cali. As a useable daily Ferrari with a front 8 it offers a lot - its quick, rear wheel drive, new tech, and upgraded interior. Lighter more dynamic and better fuel economy. Warranty and maintenance covered. So if you want those things - go for it. There are downsides to the FF- v12 Noise and four wheel drive/awd as well as aging tech and increasing maintenance costs. Funny ptu. Stickies and leather shrinkage are all in store. Drive it and decide. It’s a nice car. Only you know if it’s for you. The kernel of what people are saying is the power of the v12 in such a useable package as the FF is an incredible car to sell. You will miss it. If you posted this on the Roma section, I bet there are many who made that switch. Oh yeah. Now is the time to sell with values where they are. Good luck.
I do not like the center console. It splits the cabin in half and makes it smaller. Perhaps looks like a new Corvette.
I own the Pista and drove the Roma. I actually really like it. Its a fun car to drive and it sounds good too. Just depends on what you feel like driving and for what purpose.
Not a chance. I love my FF. If I were to upgrade, it would be to a GTC4LUSSO. To me the Roma shows how Ferrari has lost their way without Pininfarina.
