Seems like most reports have the dry at ~3500, so 3650 +/- wet, and Ferrari typically misleads, so 4200....LOL

Give or take. Ferrari are known for BS'ing weight. so "official" weight is 1670kgs (of SF90) and 765LT official weight is 1339kgs - so different of 330kgs. Add Ferrari weight "BS" factor and 400kgs is about right.

Batteries and electric motors are heavy, maybe that would work better with a carbon tub?

Imagine what the next Mc will do with it’s low weight, V6H power plant. Given the insanity of the 765LT, where does this new tech/car take us?! How far behind does Ferrari fall? Lambo just needs to keep doing what it is....bold designs and loud engines.

No doubt Mclaren is kicking everyone’s arse in performance and a Ferrari is a Ferrari. Having said that a buddy of mine got the SF90. He said it’s a missle. Fastest thing he has ever driven. I would love to see a drag race between 765 and SF90.

a decent specced 765 coupe is 425k. Sf90 will be closer to 600k. Just totally different cars but that’s the drag race I want to see. Not that these drag race numbers really mean anything at the end of the day.

    Here's my contribution/situation from experience...........

    Decently spec'd F8 Spider: 365

Decently spec'd EVO Spyder RWD: 275

    Decently spec'd STO: 400

Assuming the above, the 765 coupe is stretching the limits, whereas the SF90 is a true a outlier and shouldn't be counted here. I've yet to own a McLaren, but perhaps a second-owner car.......someday.

The drag races dont mean anything but the power when you are accelerating is just intoxicating. Hitting it in any gear it just pulls so hard and the sound is incredible in this car.

Evo spider and F8 spider are regular production cars. When you get to the limited stuff- 400k is the price of entry.

fwiw- base price on 765 is 358k and rally you could easily spec one for 390 as it includes a ton of options already.

    Got’ya.

If you can do without an Ad Personam paint job on the STO, a bit less. But I doubt that’s possible, and we’re splitting hairs anyway.

A buddy has seen the Arturo and says it really looks good and the 6cyl/hybrid will be very innovative - official intro end Feb.

Ferrari really needs to step up the game ASAP

$390K for the 765 is cutting it a little tight. No optional exterior CF or gloss black paint, limited paint colors , but it is doable. But at this price and it being a special car, why skimp. Adding $30K to a $400K car when it adds that extra fairy dust will in the end, mean little.

I have the excel file and priced one out. If you do black pack, 10k in paint, all interior carbon and senn seats, you are under 400k.

I agree a few bucks here or there doesn’t matter but I’m getting wiser and more selective in the options I get going forward instead of checking every box.

I know of a smoked white 765 with a 517k msrp. Every option including carbon panels, roof scoop etc. I don’t think you get a lot of that money back. Look at the launch edition 720 from a few years ago. They tanked and tanked hard.

I just quickly specced a 765. 411k. you could eliminate the Senna seats and the stitching and you are at 395k. It has the black pack so everything is painting gloss black instead of carbon. Is it the ultimate spec? no. Does it have a ton of stuff included such as lift, upgraded stereo etc? Yes. Unless you are a carbon junkie, what more would you want? Roof scoop yeah- I can see going for that but still remove the Senna seats and the stichingand you are still around 425k with a roof scoop.

Yeah, not a fair fight. The Mac is more aggressive. I still love that darn Pista so if it doesn't sell soon I'll keep it in south Florida and drive drive I get down there.

Perfect weather now for spirited driving in South Florida!!! And you may even hook up with Brooks (who lives about a mile away from me). I am sure he would love to run his 765 against a Pista.
