    Has anyone used the Superformance replacement brake light lens successfully? I don't mean the entire assembly, but they sell just the red parts. I haven't taken my assembly off of the car yet, but isn't it all glued together? Does this replacement require breaking parts to make this work?

    I once had a Body Shop attempt light repairs, I ended up with four new ones.

    Yes, the housing is glued and I suppose patience might yield you opening one. But another failure mode is the snapping off of interior mounts of the housing that fasten the lamp support...

    So, to me, "getting ones while you can" is an expensive but great renewal.
    Only once you swap them will you see how aged and dirty your old ones were.

    Check they have stock as indicator lens has been out of stock for 8 months at superformance

    It seems no one here has put one in. I wonder if they've actually ever sold any. Maybe it's out of stock until enough people (anyone?) say they want one.

    I have my housing ready to take a new lens as cracked the original. Now can't get a lens.
