Your thoughts on the best 599 color

Underrated color.

I saw a 360 in that color a few years ago and was amazed how great it can look on a F car.

Me too. My 612 is Blue TDF and my Maserati QP is Grigio Silverstone!

Hi all new here , anyone know how to find out how many 599 GTB were produced in TDF blue for at least the 2009 year . Thank you

 

There are a lot of threads that discuss production numbers. The US tracks cars imported but Ferrari did not put a specific number on production. To my knowledge, no one has specific numbers by color. There are percentages by color and you can apply those to the totals and you should be in the ballpark. Most of that data is here if you search a little bit. BUT, in the US the number for any one year is likely single digits.

 

I guess in short, You are talking about the efficient market theory. Unfortunately, it is not efficient.

 

I got 64 gtb/hgte tdf for the entire world. Maybe 5/10 % more missing. By year will be more difficult.

The 599 is a pretty rare car in general; as are most of the V12s. If you are set on a specific color then the options reduce fast but I am not confident that color has much impact on value unless that color happens to be in vogue at the time. Obviously there are exceptions but at these volumes it isn't the big factor. I would be far more concerned about the condition than if it is TDF or Rossa Corsa.

MUST be well optionned at this price ! To be more precise (if you wish), on 64 cars known, 32 are in the States and 5 are MY2009 ( maybe few more...)

 

That car has HGTE wheels and yellow calipers(standard on HGTE). Is it a factory HGTE?

 

If you mean my old car ( TDF above) John, please check the seats, that's the giveaway it is not a factory HGTE, I fitted them as I liked the look of them over the monolithic wheels

Beautiful car and Yes, those are obvious. As I recall a white tach in the HGTE as well. But everything was up for grabs in customization so there are exceptions to all of the general rules. My red car has full dealer installed HGTE. I know the dealer installed setup varied a lot and often doesn't have some bits and pieces. I don't have the seats but I have everything else; plus a GTO grill and a few other bits.
