    I really like how these came out, you can design them yourself at Nike. It’s kinda like a car configurator, but for Air Max 1 sneakers (my favorite shoes). I have based them on the specs of my own 599 (Rosso Scuderia with beige leather). The beige is a little off, but it’s close enough. A gift to myself, I use them as driving shoes only :)

    Im not a shoe enthusiast really, but those are very cool. Can you imagine what they would cost if they were factory supplied? LOL.

    Converse has offered a similar customizing service for quite a few years for their Chuck Taylor, high top or low top etc: https://www.converse.com/shop/custom-shoes

    I know a few people who have done special colours to match their cars. Converse offers the text embroidering too.

    Mike, thanks for this awesome post. I have a 612 with the same colors. So my wife ordered the same shoes as a Christmas present. They will arrive Dec 23rd. Apologies for being a copycat but it was too incredible of an inspiration to pass up.

    That’s funny Mike. Since you gave me the heads up on this I have made 4 or 5 designs myself but also have not yet ordered any of them. My wife also says that I have too many shoes (I have a shoe closet) but of course you can never have enough. Below is one of the additional designs I am looking at. The big disappointment is I cannot find anything that is black and silver (the colors of my Corvette—maybe use black and red instead). :(

    Mike, so you unleashed a demon! First I got the Nike 612 sneakers (I changed the design a little as I got an all leather top). Then I wanted something to go with my black Vette. My wife told me about Vans and I got the below checkerboard number. Then I started to think about driving my cars on special occasions and got the below flag sneakers. Now looking around to see what else is out there!
