    You might have a bad variator. You need to have the shop read the timing variation while the car is running.

    Check fuel trims
    Check for codes
    I’ve had back fire issues w bad mass air meters... lean back fire

    I would not assume worst case scenario right away... just do the due diligence w knowledge and patience.

    UPDATE- Issue was an unhooked ground wire thankfully! Now she's back to purring on all 8 cylinders through the catless factory challenge race box and unrestricted headers! Thanks for the help guys!

    Glad it was a simple fix. Amazing how fast we were to go to the wcs worst case scenario! Sign of the times I guess.
