The interior is a bit on the pimp side. Lol. I might just need some free lunch ! Actually , F Tampa gave me a very fair trade deal on my 488 spider so it wasn’t as painful as it could have been as I put on 12,200 miles over almost 3 years.

Exhaust update , now they are saying no go on the valve controller . Apparently they are now having some problems. So I asked about the Capristo and they said it’s 50/50 shot of no problems. Some are having check engine light and some are not. I figured I’m not gonna roll the dice. I’ll just wait till this gets sorted.

Not typically a yellow guy, but IMO the F8 presents really well with the Giallo. Perhaps it’s all the black trim, or the curves, etc.

My sincerest congrats for the (almost) end of your long journey.

I’d be curious to know time from deposit and time from allocation to today. At least it may help me temper expectations.

How can you not get excited about taking delivery on a car like this ? unless you live up north....

Also I love the new Ferrari rear license plate design and the lettering. Looks like Spanky and Our Gang did it, lol.

 

I placed my order December 14, 2019. Car arrived at the dealer this morning January 21, 2021.
Keep in mind, the triple layer paint takes longer so that stretches out the wait time. Regular paint would probably be quicker.
So a bit over a year

I forgot to take interior shots. Black leather, yellow stitching, leather Daytona race seats with yellow stitching, carbon fibre steering wheel and driver zone. Alcantara headliner and A-pillars. Think that covers it.

I got regular race seats, skunk stripe, yellow stitching & carbon wheel.
Our cars must have been built about the same time.

 

I am not certain that is true. Yes, triple paint may take longer and my car was decently optioned with some extra options not from their list. It didn't necessarily take as long. I placed my order on March 7, COVID was starting. Factory closed for about 2 months, I took delivery December 26.

 

Maybe they took a few more breaks when building my car.

 

It doesn't matter now... It is now here and finally yours.

Get a chance to listen first. I had a Capristo on a 430 and it was painfully loud, all the time.
