Has anyone converted 360 5-bolt bubs to 430 Centre Lock ones? Is there an adaptor or do I need to install 430 hubs which seems like a load of work? I posted elsewhere on this Forum that I am installing 430 Challenge CCM discs and calipers but might bite the bullet and go with the whole 430 thing. Just planning at the moment as Covid has me locked down in Jersey and the car is in France. Hope someone can help?? Many thanks Paul Image Unavailable, Please Login
it's a kit bolt on pretty easy to install https://capristoexhaust.com/product/ferrari-360-430-bbs-19-challenge-wheels-with-centerlock-conversion-kit/ Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk

I don't think that will do what he wants if he is moving to challenge rotors. To do that, you need an equivalent hub. Even the 360 Challenge cars are 5 bolt, though the GTC spec cars are center lock. I am doubtful that the 430 challenge stuff is going to just bolt up to a 360. If the goal is a move to carbon brakes, I would stay in the 360 world and use Stradale parts or even an aftermarket solution like Alcon who will do custom stuff.
These adaptors work on 430 or 360 they bolt to the rotor hat comes with all hardware needed. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
When looking at a 430 challenge rotors they still have the same bolt pattern as the others. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
Now I am totally confused (and totally interested...) The 430 challenge cars are all center lock. Are the rotors all 5 bolt? That would be a pit lane nightmare!
I know right it's kinda crazy when you think about it. I think what ferrari did is use the same rotor hats just didn't use the 5 bolts just the center lock.they do still have a bolt pattern so if bolting it to a 360 hub should work. To do it the right way you will need 4 hubs which cost around 1200 each. And 430 ccm brake caipers will work butbthe rotor is the tricky part due to the difference offset of the rotor hub on the challenge cars. Giro disc did a custom set on my buddy's car who did this conversion. Dont belive he is on here much but its completely different than the turaino kit .which not knocking that kit. This is the correct way to do it. Trev360 did I good right up.
That kit is no longer made. I tried to find it and they had a used display one available about a year ago.
Try ferrari of sanfransico maybe they have a kit left. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
Why would you want a bolt in part to then put a CL wheel on. No offense intended. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
When I was in the market about a year ago for that kit I valled there direct hub in Florida and they said they never sold good and not in production any more But they did have the display one for sale
Wow so the only option is to source challenge hubs that's deftly not cheap. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
Not a very cooperative company at all. I am in UK so the cost of shipping the package including 4 rims and Centre lock hubs would be uneconomic. They have one set but refuse to split them so that I can buy just the hubs. very surprised and disappointed as most US companies are pretty flexible.
Not true actually, I can get a set of used challenge hubs for £1500. Now sounds like a good deal. Might go that route.
Aset of 2 or 4? $1500 for 4 is cheap here in the usa u will be luck to find a used one for $1200 to $1500 each. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk
Okay so the option to install a conversion hub is no longer viable. Has anyone installed 430 Challenge Centre lock hubs on a 360 Modena? This seems to be a cheaper option, or any option frankly. I'm game to have a go if someone can advise of the work involved and whether they think it is feasible. I have 360 Challenge carbon discs already and 430 Challenge calipers.
Look up gated360 on IG he did the conversion and have talked to him.you might need to change the bells on the rotors to the rear bells . Its kinda complicated but check his page out. He is rebuilding is motor now and its gonna rip.
