Does anyone make a reasonable front spoiler for the 355? Can you post any pics of decent candidates? I am having a problem finding a source and may have to have them manufactured. Thanks.

I have a used RSD (from Japan) one that appears to be made in fiberglass reinforced with carbon fiber internally for added strength.

I also had one custom made in carbon :). RSD never offered it in carbon.

If I had my mechanic make a run of these in fiberglass would any other Fchatters be interested in them as well?

Carbon would sell a lot better IMO

RSD never offered this lip in carbon because they probably couldn’t figure out how to make it carbon. It’s a very complex piece. Not many will have to know-how to pull it off.

Maybe, but Im not interested in what would sell better. I think fiberglass should be easier to make and repair, and these things are disposable. Its going on my race car, not my street car. But yeah, carbon fiber looks cool. I just dont care about that for this application.

So you want to produce this just for challenge cars / track use? That one above apears to stick out 6"+ and 2"+ lower.

Yes I am looking to source and use functional (rather than cosmetic) front air dams/spoilers/splitters/lips.

I have enough problem with my 355 road car scraping on my driveway to consider a splitter for that car, although I agree they look nice.

I also have a 355 race car, and my mechanic assures me I will be replacing the front splitter every time I go to the track.

The RSD front lip design is as functional as it gets. The raised center increases air velocity entering underneath the car, whereas a standard plain jane flat lip does not.

Look closely at Ferrari challenge car designs and their front splitters.

I understand the OP is more interested in a 100% functionally, yet disposable option... Which is fine of course.

For others searching and reading through this topic, I will say the M-tech model is a good mix of aerodynamics and cosmetics, it's very strong (ask me how I know lol).
It also is NOT lower than the skid plates. The only reduction in clearance comes from it's forward length.

The mounting holes are only on surfaces that are parallels to the ground, thus removing it would not leave any visible holes.
