    Sometimes at an auction, something slips by... I will be curious to hear if there is some other reason. It was low, but not crazy low-- the market for PF Coupes isn't especially strong right now, so I would argue this was probably a $400k USD car in normal circumstances. Maybe $450k.

    Was it no reserve? Normally, you don't see this sort of thing because of the reserve, and chandelier bidding, but if it was no reserve, things can happen. Or maybe the seller really needed the money now?

    As I said in the other thread, I still think, wrong engine and all, that this car was a very good deal, and either the reserve was too low or the seller really needed to sell.
