    Hi All,
I recently bought an 89 testarossa. The owner had died and the family sold it, and had no info about it. It has some ugly mismatched aftermarket wheels and tires, but the car came with what appears to be a set of original wheels in new condition. The problem is, they measure 17" in diameter. Tire rack and that crowd says only 16" wheels came on that car. Thoughts?

Ask in the TR section and add the complete wheel size and/or part no to enable confirmation that they are original and/or look at the existing tire threads there

No 17" stock wheels for a TR (only 16" wheels in the inch sizes). Do you have a picture, or perhaps the Ferrari Part numbers shown on the back of the spokes?

TR also came with metric 415mm wheels (which equals about 16.34") and can't use a 16" tire -- maybe this is what they are thinking is 17"? (Tires for the 415mm rims are expensive and hard to find.)
