Heard good thing about all these type of starters that are out there on the market Are they still similar to the conventional jump/booster packs or work differently? Also the original supplied Ferrari charger supplied with the vehicle doesn't it charge and keep the battery on trickle/condition if its all the same thing lol? If so then surely there's no need for the starter as pictured or you on about once the battery starts going weak?
There are quite a few of these starters , basically up to you. I just wanted a big one. They would have the same function but mine has a lithium battery hence smaller but you can get even smaller. Just have it charged and in the car with you. You will need it one day 99.999999% sure you will. The factory unit is a conditioner. Barely enough just to keep the voltage. Thing is you really dont know when the battery is going weak. Im just giving you a heads up like others before gave to me. FYI i have my car on the conditioner 24/7, nearly drive every week end and ive had to use it 6 times.
Passenger side on the foot rest . You will see a black plastic round bolt to undo and the panel will drop down. Familiarize yourself with it and the +ve and -ve posts. I only suggested the one picture because its got balls but it has 2 thinks that are a MUST 1) REVERSE POLARITY PROTECTION. 2) NO SPARK WHEN CONNECTED.
I had a bunch of error messages on my 488 including E/diff Put a new battery in then everything is fine
