    Regarding 54207, here you go.

Ferrari Market Letter, 9 Jan 1988, 1/88, convertible, black w/tan interior, tan top, in excellent condition, garaged, books and records, 17,000 original miles, USD 85,000, Santa Monica Sports Cars, 213/395-0255 (CA).

Ferrari Market Letter, 10 Jun 1995, 6/95, cab conversion, black with tan interior, power top on an impeccable conversion, 20,000 original miles, USD 49,000, Symbolic Motor Car Co, La Jolla, CA 619/454-1800; fax 619/454-1890.

Ferrari Market Letter, 30 Aug 1997, 8/97, cabriolet conversion, black with tan leather interior, 25,000 miles, Straman conversion, Maryland registered, totally legal, two new tyres, tools, all service records, always well-maintained, inside and out, excellent condition, Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette, drives like a dream, USD 44,995, Bob Zweig (MD).

Dec 2008 for sale via Silver Star Recycling (CA), $20,000, 32,000 miles

    2013 in Las Vegas.

One question - I notice it has yellow auxiliary lights and wonder if it was originally supplied by the French distributor, Pozzi. Does it have a Pozzi plate in the engine bay, next to the serial number plate?

Do you happen to know anything more about this company? Every once in a while, I go down an internet rabbit hole trying to figure out more about the history of our 400 convertible. There was a similar one for sale on BAT where it was said to have belonged to Rod Stewart and the conversion done by Straman. I didn't see it originally, but Straman himself replied in the comments that it wasn't one of his. There was also a picture included of a plate from Marque Motors with a Minneapolis address. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of other threads here about that car.

Anyway, the chassis brace and roof latch system are similar to what we have, so I'm now I'm trying to figure out if we have a Marque Motors conversion. Any addition insight would be appreciated.

    Hi Larry,
I don't know much more about Marque Motors.
From my research, the following convertible 400s have been attributed to them:
    #21919
    #36641
    #41985
    #43385
    #51699
For both 36641 and 43385 and it seems that it was actually a firm called EuroTech who performed the conversions, presumably sub-contracted by Marque Motors. Perhaps the other Marque Motors 400s were also converted by EuroTech. All I know about them is that they were based in California and also did some TR conversions. Thanks for the additional insight. I'll try to look into those and see if there are more similarities.

For your records, we have 25785 and don't know much about it other than sold in 2006 by Fantasy Junction.

This is all I can I add on its history:

For sale, LA Times, 6 Sep 1986, VIP Toy Store
For sale, Ferrari Market Letter, 18 Aug 1990, auto, recent complete restoration, dual air, 22,300 miles, USD 89,500, Autoputer, (FL).
Barrett-Jackson auction, 20 Jan 1993, black, no reserve, lot 205.

The adverts don't mention it being a convertible which implies the conversion was done post 1993, which is unusual as most conversions were done in the 1980s.
