After 4 Years, New F12 Owner!

    I joined this forum over 4 years ago to begin my research and search for my first Ferrari. Thanks to all the information and people here, I finally have one!!!

    I have owned quite a few vehicles over the last 30 years, but never a Ferrari. When I bought my first Mercedes 4 years ago, I knew it had to be an S class, since that is what I think Mercedes really is. My Ferrari thoughts started the same way, I wanted a V-12 of some sort since I think that is what Ferrari really is. However, during my four years of research and saving money for the purchase, I found out I was drawn to several of the V-8 offerings as well. But in the end, my first love was the F12, and I am very happy I ended up getting one in the end.

    So the car is a 2017 and has higher miles (29k), but that worked for my budget and use. I plan to put 3-5k miles per year on it, so I did not (and could not) afford a lower mile example. I also wanted a car that was still under warranty and the maintenance plan, and this car checked these boxes as well. I bought it from a fellow F chatter that was very good to work with and the deal went very smoothly. As of now I want to change the shields back to stock, and am unsure about the added vinyl stripe, so I will leave that for now and see how I feel about it over time.

    Grigio Silverstone really suits the F12 and I agree the stripe is nice to. You now have a V12 there, congrats!

    Great color, and the vinyl stripe actually looks pretty nice on it. Enjoy it! The Ferrari V12 is simply amazing. I was interested in really any modern Ferrari V8 or V12, but after driving a V12 I knew that was the engine I needed.

    I really like the stripes....going to look into them for my car.

    Wonder if it can be installed over Expel?

    Beautiful! Did you worry much about the mileage? I'm also looking at an f12 with 30,000kms with a great spec but am hung up on the kms...

    I was actually looking for a car with higher mileage (I didn't want quite this many, but liked the spec). I believe vehicles that are driven have less problems and didn't want one that sat. I also plan to put 3-5k miles per year on it, so didn't want to pay a premium for a low mileage example. I understand it will be worth less in the future, but that will only matter if I ever sell it. As long as I don't have higher mileage related issues, it was the right choice for me.
