I ordered the straps from Two Redbirds. The most Time-consuming part of the project is just how many darn bolts there are that hold the trunk walls in.

Same, they came fast and are better quality buckles than the originals.

    Forget the straps

Mike Niday has a better idea with his trunk container.

Clever idea and better than the expensive leather straps

your preference is to have the straps to hold down items?

Just the tool kit at the front. Two Red Birds FTW!

The Two Red Birds straps are very nice but the color is off somewhat. I had dye matching the original made and re-dyed the straps with an air brush. Much closer and not a difficult task. Just time consuming.

When I purchased my 360, the first thing I did was remove the tool kit from the trunk. You wouldn't ever want to actually use any of those tools, and the belt chafes the leather on the tool kit over time. My tool kit is safely tucked away in storage, and will remain in pristine condition, until I sell the car.

That’s probably the best thing to do. I, however, would probably misplace it, and then be one of those sellers who’s car lacked the toolkit! Like so many cars that are missing one or more of the three key fobs, although it’s a lot easier to lose track of such a smaller item.

When I was filming my trunk glove box installation, I first had to find my original green vinyl bag of fix a flat (which is also tucked away in storage) so I could start filming from the original configuration. It took me two days to find the stupid thing!! :)

I got the new straps in last week, I flipped the straps around to what I consider the correct way (extra length pointed down), and they look 10x better than the stockers. Also swapped the rivets out for stainless allen bolts for easy removal later if necessary. The bolts also match a lot of the factory hardware used elsewhere in the car.

the straps look great for sure, but I think what Mike came up with is a better deal.

Who would ever use that canister!

In my 360 there are 8 straps. 2 upper/2 lower for tool kit and 2 upper/2 lower for flat fix for a total of 8 straps. Were all 8 riveted in? I have two that have some "clamp" and then button head cap screws. Trying to determine if this was a previous owner "fix" or if Ferrari truly used two different fastening methods?

Mine has two button head screws that also hold the front lining in place around the latch mechanism.

OEM has six. Upper and lower center mounted for toolkit, upper and lower pair for flat repair kit. All were factory riveted except the upper for tool kit, which had hex head cap screws. One of the pics above shows factory configuration. Post a pic of yours?

Yep, the factory used two bolts because they also hold the trunk liner in, take them out and you'll see the threaded mounting holes.

BTW, once you drill out the rivets for the bottom strap, you could choose to use rivets again, or you could use suitable self-tapping screws. I used no. 10 stainless button heads.
