Interesting special order 308 on Bring a Trailer. Reading some of the comments, the person that ordered this car also had some relationship with the factory, as they had gotten other Ferrari's as well. Would be interesting to hear of any other cars this customer had gotten and if any were special order like this one. Sorry if this has already been posted and discussed. I didn't see it.

I agree - the white is just wierd. But the pictures of the car at the factory and transport are really cool.

Definitely not everyone's taste, but the owner had the sway to get what he wanted. I like the interior and the wheels on it. It would be interesting to find out more about the original owner, and the other Ferrari's he had.

I saw that car in person....maybe 15 years ago. Just as ugly in person.

A dealer had it, I was there to buy a set of seats and he saw me all the paperwork, letters back and forth about what he want and what ferrari was offering to do before they settled, he was very excited.....and I was like, yeah, very unique...now about those seats we talked about :)

Sold for $68,500 according to BAT right now. So did the paint and documentation help the price, hurt the price, or did it not matter?

I think it was the only thing that helped with the price, because while the story is cool and the pictures are absolutely amazing--they were the only things preventing it from being a $30k car that someone would need to put back to correct. haha...
