Could also be testing replacement batteries for the La Ferrari as it seems this is a problem area?

Maybe fake exhausts. Single central exhaust. I don't see smoke and it seems there are two plugs in the tubes

There is also a sort of central s-duct, which starts from half of the rear window and flows into the lower grille more or less at the height of the license plate holder

    Guess they’re reusing pre-production prototypes.
    No money wasted.

Considering the number of mules its definitely a replacement for the LaF
IMO They're rushing the V12 out because it has a small window of
performance relevance before Turbo V8/Hybrids totally eclipse V12's

Or before regulations kill all V12s? Hybrids or unassisted.

    Agree about the laferrari mule.
But 800hp NA V12 will always eclipse turbo/hybrids engine ( my opinion).
No hybrids stickers on this mule ?

but few days ago someone commented on this photo posted in Spotted Ferrari's! facebook group, that it is a mule for next icona, which seems logical because it'll come before the next flagship hypercar.

The next icona will not have a carbon chassis, the replacement of Laferrari will. Why would they test the future icona on a basis that doesn’t match?

I doubt this is a icona mule. Icona series start from regular platform as special project like SP38 or Omologata. I don't remember Monza SP mule.

Finally really. LaFerrari would had been such a much greater car with NA only and without all that weight attached. But it was what it had to be done.

This is really exciting. Guessing high 800s very low 900s, 1100-1200kg real weight. 9500rpm. And more important of all, reliable.
As long as they get away from that 458 based design that has been repeated on the 488, f8, sf90...

It is amusing that people actually believe that the LF replacement won't be a hybrid 1000+++ CV monster... Hopefully it will still have a N/A V12 though.

Finally they are making a LaF without the batteries (assume they will do the 48v system instead) and a proper Halo Ferrari (a light, NA v12). I know the Halo cycle is on point but still, 2023 is the year of the death of ICE cars, they could had pushed 2 hypercars in-between. I guess sp and sf90 are them.

    Why not?
"but that the whole project will focus on lightness rather than power, a choice that will force you to develop a standard car, without any kind of electrification: “Electrifying a V12 means creating, most likely, a heavy and large car. So electrification should ideally be combined with smaller motors." "

It wouldn't be the first time that Ferrari has thrown people of their balance intentionally. Remember what Luca told when they launched the 458? That there won't be a track focused version, as the car was extreme as it were. We all know that the Speciale came after that. Electrification and hybridisation are here to stay. You will see it when LF's successor is launched.
