    Why would they want to? To be beat by some unknown team with a "Chevy" motor?

    It never made sense. Too much effort for the payoff. Its not like Ferrari needs a bigger brand image in America.

    Ferrari's dalliances with Indy Car and Le Mans are always predicated on the perception
    they're not getting a fair shake in F-1, they threaten to take their ball and play elsewhere,
    F-1 gives them what they want, lather rinse repeat, etc. for how many decades now?
