So now an expert on Foreign Policy? I'd say your not well traveled in the Middle-East? Think about . FFS,
I read that, twice. I sent my daughter, who happens to be my employee , the link. I told her she needs to write a critique of the paper, 1000-1500 words, and have it back to me next Thurs. She is 21 .... I hope her mom doesn't give me too much **** for giving her an assignment like that, but hell, she is an employee!
AOC isn't quite playing with the full deck is she? Heard her totally fabricated description of December 6th? Holy moly
AOC = Jussie Smollet Not only that, it's speculated that Joe Biden was wearing an earpiece during his inauguration. This has gained traction because of his muttering, "Salute the Marines" twice, as if he was repeating what he was hearing. And, worse, he failed to salute them, even as he said it at virtually the same instant he passed them. https://commonsenseevaluation.com/2021/01/21/biden-salute-the-marines/ So, who's pulling his strings? Maybe this is more than a "quip" from BHO... https://www.bizpacreview.com/2020/12/14/obamas-cryptic-comments-on-a-third-term-sets-off-firestorm-of-speculation-1005636/ CW
Your military would appear to be very different to ours In Australia the junior personnel salute and then the senior officer will respond with a salute I would expect those military members would be reprimanded for not saluting their Commander in Chief Are you sure it was a faux pas on sleepy Joe’s behalf ? Anything's possible, and you make a correct point that the superior RETURNS the salute, generally. I didn't notice any salutes by the Marine guards, but, if they're holding open doors, I'm not sure they're supposed to do both. In which case, protocol (and logic) would dictate that Biden should recognize the courtesy and their service. After reading this... https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/01/28/fact-check-marines-did-not-refuse-salute-biden-capitol/4292582001/ It says that this occurred prior to his swearing in, which means he was not yet POTUS. In which case, it was inappropriate for the Marines to salute. Still, the question remains, though, why is Biden saying, "Salute the Marines" (twice) as if he's repeating something? And, then he fails to do so. Was it an oversight or a tell? CW
Senior not superior I was taught that it is also customary for senior officers in Australia to salute anyone who has been awarded a Victoria Cross regardless of their rank Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Noted, my nomenclature is that of a civilian. No disrespect intended to members of the military. I believe, while it is not mandatory, it is customary to salute MoH recipients, regardless of rank, too. CW
M Maybe in the interests of the USA as a whole each party could kick out member - AOC for the Dems and MTG for the Rs
It seems the press briefings are too hard for the new press secretary, now they want all questions submitted in advance so they are better prepared.
Incredible isn't it? After what the press put Trump and mcenany through for years. It sure is an eye opener. Are people smart enough to pick up on it though?
Psaki was bad in the BHO's administration. She has gotten worse since. If she cannot handle the softballs she's getting, now, what happens when the heat get turned up? Total clown show. CW
